Summary: white cat tells the story of Cassel Sharpe, a young man who comes from a family of so-called Curse Workers. They work magic with the simple touch of a hand — and that’s why everyone wears gloves, out of fear of being cursed by an unknown Curse Worker. Oh, and Curse Working is illegal — so Cassel’s family are all mobsters. Con men. Of course, Cassel just so happens to be the only non-Worker in his family. But he’s not the “good kid” in a bad family. He also killed his best friend (and childhood crush) Lila three years earlier.

But after waking up on the roof of his school dorm — and not sure how he got there — Cassel begins to suspect something isn’t quite right. And then there’s the mysterious white cat that keeps showing up. Pretty soon, Cassel is convinced that all is not as it seems.

My review: Cassel Sharpe is a misunderstood teen that has been lied to his whole life and I couldn't help but feel for him, the first sentence got me when I pick it up at the bookstore aka Borders. This book was so weird and interesting I wanted to say i devoured it but I had to restrain myself from finishing it to fast. So i could grasp and understand everything. Cassel is on my favorites list but Lila didn't make the cut she was to out there that I didn't like her very much I sort wish she stayed a cat.

My Review: I can't explain this book but ill try. Have you ever had a book that had something you loved like for me the Beatles when i saw this book i new i was gonna love it. the book is cute, adorable , funny, girl power and Beatles! I took my time with this one because I didn't want it to end I love Penny Lane she was like my new best friend its one of the book characters that stays in your heart.

Summary: Shelby’s summer plans go totally awry when her horrible stepmother sends her off to “brat camp” as punishment for one too many broken curfews. Camp is full of spoiled rich kids, obnoxious counselors wanting Shelby to talk about her feelings, and a totally inhumane “no cell phones” policy.

Things start looking up, though, when Shelby meets fellow camper (and son of a rock star) Austin Bridges III. But soon she realizes there’s more to Austin than crush material—his family has a dark secret, and he wants Shelby’s help guarding it. Shelby knows that bad boys get her into trouble…but who is she to turn her back on a guy in need, especially such a good-looking one?

My review: Austin is amazing he made it to my favorite list along with Shelby. I hope there is a book two to this book I don't know what Heather Davis could write about, but I would love to read more about Austin. I devoured this book I read it overnight.
